Best Welds FL-5 soapstone is a 5-inch flat marker used by welders, fitters, and metalworkers for layout and identification marks on metal. Marks do not contaminate welds and are easily removed after cutting or welding. Grain-cut for strength and long service life, with low water content for increased hardness and resistance to breakage. The all-white formulation gives excellent marking quality. Chemical composition: SiO2 61.11%, MgO 30.32%, CaO 0.11%, other minerals balance. Typically sold in bulk (144 pieces per gross).
